I charged $3 a month for my first group program (at age 12)

The elementary school gym seemed much larger than normal. Then again we had only been in the gym when it was full for P.E. class or the occasional school assembly.

Now with just the 6 of us, we had the whole large room to ourselves.

It was 12 year old me and 4 younger girls from the neighborhood. Plus 1 mandatory adult for supervision. (a.k.a. my Mom).

We had gathered to practice our "dance routines". I was the choreographer and charged $3.00 a month per student for this "Dance Summer Camp."

This was the first group program I had ever created.

And I went all out! (As much as a 12 year old in the early 80's could!)

There were permission slips for parents to sign. (created with colored pencils and paper by yours truly...moi!)

Music selections ( a.k.a. mixed tapes) and dance routines created in advance. Not to mention lesson plans carefully organized in a spiral notebook.

We would meet 3 times per week, with 1 of those practice sessions at the elementary school gym.

This was the most exciting practice day for us! Stepping onto that polished gym floor and hitting play on the cassette player made all of us feel like Elite, professional dancers.

"5! 6! 7! 8!...", I would shout at the beginning of every new song.

Our DJ (My Mom) always professional, never missing the cue from me to hit play, stop or rewind on the cassette player with a smile and little chuckle.

I was fearless when I was 12!

Can you imagine being the secretary at the school when 12 year old me walked in and confidently asked permission to rent the school gym for her "Dance Summer Camp"?

That was a great summer.

If you've made it this far, you might be wondering why I'm sharing this story with you. That summer taught me that I LOVE running small group programs. It has been over a year since I ran one and I'm ready to get back at it.

I'm currently revamping and restructuring Intuitive U.

An 8 week group program (experience) for women just starting an online business (or side hustle) in 2026.

Since I'm tearing it down and rebuilding, this will be a beta program. AND... I thought it would be fun for you to see exactly how I create this.

Instead a a traditional "waitlist" you can follow along in the living Google Doc (There will be pics and videos too!) and also ask questions in the private telegram group!

The plan is to have this ready by March 21, 2026.

And the best part is it cost you $0.00....just because I like you.

Just the Tip Tuesday, and this week the tip is actually a thing I built. I added weekly business horoscopes to my website. Not the "Scorpio, watch your finances" kind. The actual, here's what this week's astrology means for your business decisions, your marketing timing, and your energy kind. Every week, broken down by what matters for solopreneurs and small business owners. Practical. Grounded. Zero crystal-shop vibes. If you've ever wondered whether there's a better week to launch...

Prefer to listen to this email? JUST CLICK HERE. About three weeks ago I started doing 10 squats every hour on the hour. Not because I suddenly became a fitness person. (I have not suddenly become a fitness person.) But because I read something about how sitting for long stretches is quietly terrible for you and I thought, "okay. Ten squats. I can do ten squats." That's approximately 40 seconds of my life per hour. Even I can manage that. So I set a timer. And then I ignored the timer for...

It started with a rabbit hole. I was doing what I do at 11pm when I should be sleeping (scrolling my phone, one eye open) and I landed on an article about crows. Apparently they're one of the smartest animals on the planet. (Like, unsettlingly smart. Problem-solving, holding grudges, recognizing faces smart.) And they love shiny objects. I don't know why I felt personally called by this information. But I did. So the next morning I grabbed a handful of Hamish and Angus's kibble, dropped in a...
